Build With Pride is a travelling series of free, community-led events where 2SLGBTQIA+ people and allies learn to build real software with AI. Each local edition adapts its format to its community. No coding experience is required, and participation is always free.
Why we do this
The people most affected by technology should be the ones shaping it.
AI is changing who gets to build software. We think that shift should reach our communities first, not last. Every edition puts tools, mentorship and time in the hands of people who understand real needs — and shows them, in one evening, that they can build the thing they were waiting for someone else to make.

Inspired by Lovable's Community Hackathon Playbook, each local edition can be shaped around its participants, partners, goals, and available time. The format is confirmed on the individual event page.
Short buildathon
A focused workshop or sprint that takes participants from orientation to a published first build in one session.
Full-day hackathon
More time for team formation, building, testing, iteration, demos, and optional recognition.
Weekend hackathon
A deeper format for ambitious ideas, sustained mentorship, refinement, and demo-ready products.

What is Build With Pride?
Build With Pride is a travelling series of free, community-led AI build sprints across Canada, where 2SLGBTQIA+ people and allies turn a real community need into a working software prototype in a single evening.
Who is it for?
It is open to 2SLGBTQIA+ people and allies: students, community workers, creators, entrepreneurs and complete beginners. You do not need to work in tech.
Do I need coding experience?
No. No coding experience is required. You describe what you want in plain language, and mentors help you build it with AI tools during the event.
How much does it cost?
Participation is always free. Tools and AI building credits are provided for the evening.
Which cities does Build With Pride visit?
Build With Pride is a Canada-wide initiative. Montréal and Toronto are in preparation, and a dozen more Canadian cities — including Vancouver, Ottawa, Halifax, Winnipeg and St. John's — are looking for local hosts.
Who organizes Build With Pride?
Build With Pride is organized by T24 Labs, a Canadian AI engineering studio, together with local community partners in each city. Lovable provides in-kind support.
How do I bring an edition to my city?
